Why CanarsieBK? Because Canarsie is the neighborhood in Brooklyn (BK) that I grew up in.

I have 10+ years of online marketing experience that includes SEO, PPC, email, analytics and social media marketing. During my career I’ve worked on sites both large and small across different verticals.

Some sites that I’ve worked on include the Philadelphia 76ers, The Official Tourism Board of Pennsylvania: VisitPA, Tutor.com and LGElectronics.

What I’ve Done For Myself
Starting in June 2009, I started to drink my own Kool-Aid and use my online marketing skills on my own passion projects in the green and eco-conscious living space.

I developed and still maintain some blogs of my own. By using my SEO and social media experience, I’ve been able to receive national press coverage and develop a name for myself in the niche.

The blog that has received the most exposure is Urban Organic Gardener. I’ve received media attention from The Washington Examiner, The Huffington Post and MSN Money.

For my 365 Ways To Go Green blog, I received coverage in the United States. In addition to the press coverage state side, I also received international coverage in Brasil on Olhar Digital, Planeta Susteneval, and EcoD.
